Preise für Projekte des Miteinanders
Update Explained
The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) held a network meeting in Nuremberg for project sponsors involved in the Federal Program 'Societal Cohesion – Locally. Networked. Connected.' The highlight was the award ceremony for five outstanding projects that have sustainably promoted intercultural togetherness in the past year. The program, commissioned by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community, aims to support people engaging locally for the common good by funding projects that create spaces for civil society activities and intercultural friendships. This year's network meeting included representatives from about 80 associations and organizations who exchanged ideas and best practices. The event culminated in the award of three main prizes and two special awards to select projects. The first prize went to the 'Hier – Miteinander – Füreinander' project from Bumerang e.V., which facilitates community interaction in Beeskow, Brandenburg. The second prize was awarded for the hybrid theater project 'Bildsprache' by Internationaler Bund IB Südwest gGmbH in Pirmasens, which integrates multimedia and performing arts for youth expression. The third prize honored the 'Gleis 11 – Workshop-Reihe' project by Teller ohne Rand e.V., which combines creativity and political education for empowering youth in the Rhine-Ruhr region. Additionally, special prizes were given to the Deutsche Jugend aus Russland e.V. for their project in Ludwigsburg and Über den Tellerrand e.V. for its cultural food-based initiatives in Berlin.
