Terms and Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement to create an account or use features that collect personal information. You may use the Services only where permitted by applicable law.

We may restrict access from locations, people, or organisations where providing the Services would violate law, sanctions, platform rules, or our risk controls.

JustJapa is primarily migration planning software. Features may include profile assessment, destination comparison, pathway recommendations, migration roadmaps, checklists, reminders, country intelligence, document readiness tools, journals, planners, risk insights, and access to human consultation requests.

Features may differ by account, destination, stage, or availability. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We do not promise that every feature, destination, visa route, adviser, or integration will always be available.

Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, JustJapa provides general informational and planning support, not legal advice, legal representation, or an attorney-client relationship. A consultation request does not itself create a professional-client relationship with JustJapa or any adviser.

Immigration rules, fees, programmes, eligibility criteria, processing times, and government practices change frequently. You must confirm important information through official government sources and, where appropriate, an independently qualified immigration professional before acting.

JustJapa does not decide immigration applications and cannot guarantee visa eligibility, invitation, approval, processing time, cost, employment, admission, residency, citizenship, or any other outcome. Government authorities and other independent organisations make those decisions.

Scores, match percentages, readiness indicators, risk levels, cost estimates, timelines, and recommendations are planning aids. They are not official findings or promises of success.

You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and devices and for activity carried out through your account. Do not share credentials or allow unauthorised access.

Notify [email protected] promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may require identity verification, password reset, or other safeguards before restoring access.

You are responsible for:

• Providing truthful and complete information.
• Reviewing generated outputs and correcting inaccurate profile or document information.
• Ensuring you have authority to provide information about dependants, emergency contacts, employers, clients, or other people.
• Submitting only lawful documents and content that you own or are authorised to use.
• Keeping copies of important records and independently meeting deadlines, filing requirements, and government instructions.

You must not rely on JustJapa as your sole record-keeping system or as a substitute for official notices.

Some Services use artificial intelligence, OCR, rules engines, and other automated methods. Outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, false positives, or false negatives. Similar users may receive different outputs, and an output may change when your information or external requirements change.

You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to use an output. Do not use automated document analysis as proof that a document is genuine, legally valid, complete, or accepted by an authority.

When you select "Japa now" or otherwise request assistance, you ask us to review your contact details and message and contact you about a human consultation. We may ask for additional information before deciding how to assist or whether a suitable professional is available.

A professional may have separate credentials, scope, availability, pricing, terms, and professional obligations. Unless expressly stated, JustJapa does not guarantee a professional's advice, performance, availability, or result. Verify any professional's status before retaining them.

Upload only documents necessary for the feature you are using. Do not upload malicious files, unlawfully obtained documents, or material that infringes another person's rights. You are responsible for redacting unnecessary information where appropriate and retaining original records.

We may reject, quarantine, restrict, or delete files that are unsafe, unsupported, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Terms. Automated security and quality checks do not guarantee that every threat or defect will be detected.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant JustJapa a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, process, display, and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services and comply with law.

If you use a sharing or public setting, you direct us to make the selected content available to the recipients or audience you choose. You are responsible for checking privacy settings before sharing. Removing content may not recall copies already received by others.

You must not:

• Use the Services for fraud, deception, unlawful migration activity, or harm.
• Upload forged, stolen, malicious, infringing, or unlawfully obtained material.
• Misrepresent identity, qualifications, authority, sponsorship, employment, or eligibility.
• Interfere with security, probe vulnerabilities, bypass access controls, scrape protected areas, or overload the Services.
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services except where law permits or we agree in writing.
• Use automated output to make unlawful discriminatory or high-impact decisions about another person.
• Violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.

Some features or professional services may require payment. Applicable price, currency, scope, taxes, billing schedule, and any additional conditions will be displayed or agreed before purchase. You authorise the stated charges when you confirm a paid transaction.

Unless a specific offer or applicable law says otherwise, fees for completed digital processing, delivered reports, or completed consultation time are not refundable. If recurring services are introduced, renewal and cancellation terms will be disclosed before subscription. Do not submit payment-card details through free-text forms or support messages.

The Services, software, design, branding, databases, templates, text, graphics, and other materials supplied by JustJapa are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services for your own lawful migration planning. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

The Services may contain information, links, images, chat, storage, professional services, or integrations supplied by third parties. We do not control every third-party service and are not responsible for its availability, accuracy, security, content, or terms.

Government websites and official publications take priority over summaries or guidance presented by JustJapa. Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate agreements.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. Maintenance, security incidents, internet failures, third-party outages, government changes, and events outside our control may affect access or results.

We may update software, data sources, recommendations, limits, or supported features. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes that adversely affect paid or core functionality.

You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deactivation. We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, failed to pay an amount due, or used the Services in a way that could harm users, third parties, or JustJapa.

Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and dispute provisions—survive termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." JustJapa disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, and uninterrupted availability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any express written service commitment applies only according to its stated scope and conditions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustJapa and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, opportunities, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings; or losses arising from immigration decisions, deadlines, government action, third-party services, or reliance on automated output.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid JustJapa for the affected Service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

These limitations do not apply to liability that law does not permit us to limit, including where applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless JustJapa and its personnel from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights. This does not require you to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and JustJapa agree to try in good faith to resolve a dispute by written notice describing the issue and requested resolution. Send notices to [email protected]. Either party may seek urgent relief where necessary to protect rights or security.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the JustJapa operating entity, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, while preserving mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts with lawful jurisdiction over the parties and dispute may hear unresolved claims unless a separate written agreement requires another process.

These Terms and documents expressly incorporated into them form the entire agreement concerning the Services. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be adjusted only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a reorganisation, financing, or transfer of the Services. Headings are for convenience only.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, law, security, or business practices. We will publish the updated Terms and effective date. If a change materially affects existing users, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practicable. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
